Barceló Montecastillo Golf

Barceló Montecastillo hotel offers its guests 4 outdoor pools and 1 indoor pool in the SPA (see additional charge) to ensure that stays in the hottest months are accompanied by refreshing swims.

Of the 4 outdoor pools, 1 is adults only, 1 is a semi-Olympic size for families, 1 is for children with a water park and another is a new pool in the area of the Barceló Jerez Montecastillo & CC hotel. All pools are surrounded by sun loungers and parasols and they have seasonal opening hours. The pool area has been completely renovated.

Jerez is well-known for being a rich land in many aspects, with its fantastic winery tours, flamenco bars and activities at the Racing Circuit. Driving courses, go-karting, bird and marine mammal watching (thanks to the hotel's biodiversity), caving, and a fabulous array of exhibitions in the resort gallery, there are an endless number of options for a fun-filled holiday. The hotel is also on the Jerez Wine and Brandy Route.

Barcy Club:

Barcy Club is the place to be for children aged 4 to 12, where they can enjoy a wide range of activities such as themed days and parties, as well as meeting our mascot, Barcy.

What does the All Inclusive programme include?

Breakfast, lunch and dinner at El Lagar restaurant, either inside or on the terrace with views of the golf course. Breakfast is buffet style and lunch and dinner are either buffet or set menu (depending on the season) and include local alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, tea and mineral water. 

El Tabanco Snack Bar serves a selection of alcoholic drinks, soft drinks, teas and mineral water from 11 a.m. to 11 p.m. (subject to change depending on season).

Children’s entertainment in July and August (subject to daily programming). 

As of 1 May 2024, access to the U-Spa Montecastillo water circuit will be included per person per stay, prior booking required (treatments not included).

Our Pet Friendly hotel offers guests staying in our villas the option of sharing their stay with their beloved pets.

The compulsory supplement per pet (€25) includes a charming Pet Kit upon arrival, containing a small bed, food and water bowls, a sachet of food and a guide detailing the veterinarians and animal grooming centres in the surrounding area. 

The supplement for a pet is €25 per night and this can be booked at the end of the room booking process.

Maximum pets allowed: 2 per villa.

Pets are not allowed in the resort's communal areas and must remain in the villas or immediate surroundings at all times.

Barceló Montecastillo Golf & Sports Resort has adapted to the new sustainability framework by expanding its facilities with a new area: the organic garden. A haven that is free of chemical products, designed for meeting, contemplation and learning.

The new garden offers a variety of seasonal produce, a small greenhouse, a chicken coop to create its own compost and an insect hotel to reduce pests. A completely natural environment full of life surrounding the resort for guests’ enjoyment and well-being.

Guests who enjoy playing sport on holiday or training in quality facilities will find their perfect accommodation at Barceló Montecastillo Golf.

Guests can play golf on the 18-hole golf course, football on one of the professional pitches, rugby on the 2 full-size playing fields, , all without having to leave the premises. 

In addition, the hotel is located in natural surroundings suitable for hiking, with stunning green landscapes full of trails covering the whole region. Also, its proximity to the stunning beaches of Cádiz make it the ideal place to practice water sports, with nearby establishments and schools offering equipment hire or lessons. There are also options for go-karting, driving lessons, horse riding and even hang gliding.

The hotel football pitches were built to welcome first-division football teams during winter breaks and training periods.

The resort has 3 FIFA-certified, international-sized football pitches and a specialist half-pitch training area, built under the guidance of Manchester United and the English Football Association.

The hotel has an 18-hole, par 72 golf course, designed by Jack Nicklaus, which hosted the Volvo Masters for 5 consecutive years and the Peugeot Tour for 3 years.

A surcharge of €30 will be applied to each 18-hole green fee for the whole day, subject to prior reservation. Players must present a valid golf association licence in order to play.
