CHAMBER MUSIC SERIES: ALBAN GERHARDT AND STEVEN OSBORNE

The Santa Catalina Classics festival will host two of the most important artists on the world classical music scene as part of its Chamber Music Series: cellist Alban Gerhardt and pianist Steven Osborne. With a recognized career as soloists on his instrument, his chamber music proposal has already been welcomed by the public and specialized critics. On this occasion, they will tackle a demanding repertoire, made up of works by Ravel, De Falla, Schumann and Brahms, among which the well-known Suite Populaire Espagñole stands out.
YOUNG TALENTS SERIES: KIRAN ROSSELLÓ

As part of the Young Talents Series, the Santa Catalina Classics festival will present violinist Kiran Rosselló, a Barceló Foundation scholarship recipient. In a commitment to a romantic repertoire, with touches of virtuosity, the young Mallorcan will perform some of the most demanding works by Sarasate, Grieg and Debussy, to close with the famous Third Sonata, by Johannes Brahms.
CHAMBER MUSIC SERIES: ALINDE QUARTETT AND DIMITRI ABLOGIN

String Quartet and Piano Recital
The second concert of the Chamber Series of the Santa Catalina Classics festival will be dedicated to the string quartet format and will feature one of the most representative groups of the moment: the Alinde Quartett. On this occasion, the group specialized in the interpretation of the work of Franz Schubert will perform with the pianist Dimitry Ablogin, proposing a tour of the romantic repertoire, with works by Schubert, Schumann and Schnitke.
