Golf The Lakes

The golf course was designed by renowned architect P.B. Dye, who personally supervised and oversaw the entire process. The course was opened in December 2010 for hotel guests and the general public alike.

The golf course crosses a lush mangrove forest, with 25 inland lakes and 122 strategically placed bunkers. The design makes the most of the stunning natural surroundings of Bávaro, and native plants and species surround the fairways.

Payments

Payments must be made in the shop golf course, only credit cards are accepted or payment can be charged to the room; cash is not accepted.

Cancellation policy

Cancellations must be made 24 hours prior to arrival to avoid a fee. No shows or cancellations made less than 24 hours in advance will be charged the full rate:

Refunds

There are no refunds, no exceptions. As a courtesy, rain checks may be awarded at the club’s discretion.

Levels of play

6,655 yards from the professional tees, the 18-hole Par 72 course was designed to suit all levels of play.

The 5 tees range from 4,688 to 6,655 yards.

Rating and slope

USGA Rating: Black/72.1, Gold/68.0, Blue/70.3, White/66.0 and Red 63.0

USGA Slope: Black/135, Gold/119, Blue/126, White/115 and Red/107

Golf cart rates

All fees are per player, guest and per round, the use of the cart is compulsory, Walking is not permitted on the course.

The round of golf includes: 18 holes, drinks, bucket of practice balls, free equipment storage, transportation to the golf course from your room, locker, showers and local taxes.

Rounds included

One (1) Free Green Fee per player per night's stay, subject to availability.

The free Green Fee does not include the cost of the golf cart (mandatory).
