What is my Barceló?

my Barceló is Barceló Hotel Group's international loyalty programme, open and free, aimed at rewarding the loyalty of private and independent clients who book on Barcelo.com and Call Center through high-value benefits, content and communications that will enhance their Barceló experience before, during and after their stay.

BENEFICIARIES:

The beneficiaries of the my Barceló Programme are individuals of legal age who have registered in the my Barceló Programme through the website www.barcelo.com or through the Customer Service and Telephone Reservations Service.

The account holder is the one who has to make the reservations to benefit from the exclusive advantages after logging in to my Barceló.

The my Barceló client as the reservation holder and guest during the corresponding stay is the only person who can benefit from the exclusive advantages of the programme and to whom all communications will be addressed.

In the event that a Cardholder makes a reservation for another person and does not stay during the stay, the my Barceló benefits will not apply during this stay.

In the case of a booking of multiple rooms, the advantages will apply only and exclusively to the room in which the Account Holder is staying, not applying to the other rooms included in the booking.

Payment of booking invoices will be made via the credit card included in the booking process. In the event that it is not a prepayment, the payment of the remaining amount will be required from the guest at the hotel.

TRANSACTIONS:

Reservations begin to be counted in the my Barceló account once the client has registered in the Programme and has logged in as a my Barceló client. Only bookings made by the my Barceló account holder through Barcelo.com and/or Call Center, after logging in or identifying themselves in my Barceló, are automatically accumulated for the calculation of my Barceló level and application of benefits in stay. These will be accounted for after the end of the stay (day after check-out).

HOTELS:

my Barceló, as Barceló Hotel Group's international Loyalty Programme, applies to all Barceló Hotel Group hotels in Europe, Latin America / Caribbean and Africa, except Novo Resort The Residence Luxury Apartments by Barceló (Cádiz, Spain) and Cuba (Caribbean).

Although the my Barceló benefits are global, they may be subject to minor adaptations and/or customisations, as well as exceptions in their application, depending on the reality of each hotel. For more information, please consult the general conditions of my Barceló.

What do I have to do to become a my Barceló customer?

Click on my Barceló and enter the required data in the registration form I WANT TO BE my Barceló. Once you have registered, we recommend that you fill in your preferences in the MY DETAILS AND PREFERENCES section, as it will allow us to personalise the communication and offers we can offer you.

I have forgotten my password to access my my Barceló account, how can I recover it?

Very easy! Just click on the top menu of my Barceló and access the link FORGOT YOUR PASSWORD?, enter the email address you used to register and we will send you an email with your new password.

How can I delete my private my Barceló account?

Log in to my Barceló with your email and password, go to the section PROFILE and you can unsubscribe by clicking on the UNSUBSCRIBE button. This option will delete all data from your account.

How can I update my personal my Barceló account details?

Log in to my Barceló with your email and password, go to the PROFILE section and modify the information you want.

Why doesn't the my Barceló stay counter reflect all the stays I have had in the chain's hotels?

Our programme automatically accumulates reservations (hotel only) made through Barcelo.com or our Customer Service and Telephone Reservations Service as long as you have identified yourself as a customer.

The stay is added to your account once it's enjoyed. If you forgot to identify yourself as a customer at the time of booking or you were not yet registered, you can import the stay on this page (as long as it has been booked through direct channels).

- Considerations with respect to bookings posted to the my Barceló account:

- In case of making two or more reservations under the account of the Holder with consecutive dates in the same hotel (check-out of one reservation = check-in of the following one), only one reservation will be taken into account.

booking at the level of the counter of stays in the Programme. However, the total amount spent at the counter level of the amount accumulated in the Programme will be taken into account.

- In the event that two or more bookings are made under the Account Holder's account with the same date at the same hotel, only one booking will be taken into account at the level of the Stay Counter in the Programme. However, the total amount spent at the counter level of the amount accumulated in the Programme will be taken into account.

Why can't I import my stay?

It can be due to several reasons, we suggest that you first verify that the booking is made after 26 March 2015 (otherwise it cannot be added).

It could also be due to the fact that the reservation was made through a means other than Barcelo.com or our Customer Service and Telephone Reservations, in this case again, it is impossible to add the stay.

It could be that it is a flight plus hotel booking. In that case, it is not possible to import it.

It could be because the reservation was made with a different email address than the one you are registered with my Barceló.

It could be because the booking was made directly at the hotel. In that case, it is not possible to import it.

Why am I still not levelling up?

The my Barceló level is calculated on the basis of two criteria, the number of stays enjoyed in a 24-month period and the amount of these stays.

To upgrade from my Barceló Essnetial to my Barceló Special, a minimum of 2 stays and a cumulative amount of €1,000 is required.

If you are already a Special and want to upgrade to my Barceló Unique you must have a minimum of 4 stays and an accumulated amount of €3,000.

Why did I downgrade?

In order to ensure that the exclusive benefits are given to our most loyal customers, the my Barceló level is valid for 24 months. To maintain the level, you must have at least the following number of bookings and amount spent in the following 24 months from the date of promotion or maintenance of the level.

- my Barceló Special: 2 stays and an accumulated amount of 1.000€.

- my Barceló Unique: 4 stays and an accumulated amount of 3.000€.

How can I import a booking into my my Barceló account?

If a booking has been generated without registration in my Barceló, the registered customer will be able to import this booking into their my Barceló account here, so that this booking can be incorporated into their transactions and report towards achieving the maximum benefits for the cardholder.

In order to be able to import into the reserve, the following specifications must be met:

- Only bookings made in Barceló.com will be imported and Call Centre Barceló, with check-out carried out in the last 12 months.

- The reservation must belong to a hotel in the current portfolio of Barceló Hotel Group hotels.

- The email of the Holder of the reservation must be the same as the email of the Holder of the my Barceló account to which you wish to import.

- Flight plus hotel package bookings and bookings made on other websites, travel agencies or other means other than Barceló.com and Call Center Barceló cannot be imported into your my Barceló account. For more information, please consult the general conditions of my Barceló.

LEVELS:

- my Barceló Essential: this is the base level that applies to a customer after registration in my Barceló.

- my Barceló Special: this is the intermediate level that applies to a my Barceló customer. To obtain or maintain the level, two criteria must be met, make stays and have a valid expense. If only one of the criteria is met, it will be necessary to continue making bookings until both criteria are complete. A Data Controller must have enjoyed 4 stays and have spent €3,000 in a period of 24 months. PROCEEDS:

Barceló Hotel Group rewards all customers of the my Barceló Programme who make their reservations through Barcelo.com or the Telephone Reservations Service identified as a my Barceló customer with exclusive benefits.
