Lanzarote and its surroundings are home to an extensive number of places of interest that you can't miss, from amazing beaches to impressive natural areas to explore in different ways. This is the reason why some of the essential activities to fully discover the island are tours and excursions in its main points of interest.
Timanfaya National Park. This area originated from volcanic eruptions that occurred centuries ago, which gave it its unique appearance. Once inside the park, you can visit the "mountain of fire" and the camel stall or take walking routes such as the "Tremesana" or the coast path.
Quad bike tour. If you are looking for a little more adrenaline, you can hop on a quad and explore with a guide places like the old quarries of Guatiza, the Mala dam, the "Peñas del Chache" cliff or the Mojón quarry, among other outstanding areas.
Near Lanzarote. Just 30 minutes by ferry from Lanzarote is La Graciosa, an island that preserves an untouched ecosystem and where it is possible to go on sea excursions by sailboat or catamaran to the islets that belong to the marine reserve, and even spot dolphins. You can also hop on a bike and ride different trails on your own while admiring the island's beautiful landscapes.
