  • Let's say that within 24 hours of booking, you find another offer at a lower rate for the same dates and product (room type, board, occupancy, offer, cxl rate/policy and add-ons). 

 

 

  • Within a maximum of 48 working hours, we will process your request and provide you with a response. 

 

  • If your case fits the requirements, we will match the rate found and apply an additional 10% discount.

 

  • If your request does not meet the established requirements, we will contact you to offer you the maximum number of facilities available on Barcelo.com. 

 

 

2. Matching process for the best price found on Barcelo.com after booking: 

 

  • Make your booking at the best price online at Barcelo.com or through customer service.

 

  • Let's say that, after your booking and up to 72 hours before check-in, you find a lower offer on Barcelo.com for the same dates and product (room type, board, occupancy, offer, rate/cancellation policy, and add-ons).

  • Within a maximum of 48 working hours, we will process your request and provide you with a response .

 

  • If your case qualifies, we will match the rate found.

  • Price on Barcelo.com or at the customer service of the same room with the same conditions (up to 72 hours before check-in): 190€

Terms and conditions for matching a lower rate found on another website

1. You must have a confirmed booking made through Barcelo.com or through the customer service channel. 

 

2. The conditions of the rate found on another website must fully match the conditions of the net rate booked on Barcelo.com: 

 

  • same hotel

 

  • same room type 

 

  • same duration and dates of stay

 

  • same sales conditions, cancellation conditions, prepayment conditions, conditions regarding making changes to the booking, etc. 

 

  • same number of guests 

 

  • same currency

 

  • same rate condition

 

If the cancellation and/or modification policies are not the same, the most restrictive policy will apply. 

 

3. You must submit the request within 24 hours of your purchase and at the latest 72 hours before arrival at the hotel.

 

4. The form submitted must include a screenshot of the cheapest rate found on another website. This capture must always be made in the last step, prior to confirmation, where the name of the hotel, the dates of stay, the type of room, the number of adults and children, the board, the currency, the taxes and the cancellation policy of the rate are clearly and unequivocally displayed. This screenshot should show the date and time of the computer or device on which it was taken.

 

5. Only one match request can be submitted per customer within 24 hours. 

 

6. If the cheaper internet rate is for a booking lasting several nights, the guarantee covers the final price of the entire booking, not the individual rates for each night. 

 

7. The cheapest rate found will be net of taxes associated with the city/country in question or other taxes associated with the room rate. 

 

8. The fare found must be publicly available on the Internet and verifiable in Barcelo.com.

 

9. The total difference found on another site must be more than €5. In the event that the price difference exceeds 25%, and unless prohibited by law, Barceló Hotel Group reserves the right to modify or cancel this offer and the terms and conditions at any time, at its sole discretion. 

 

10. In the event that a match is made (whether or not the additional 10% discount has been awarded), it will be applied to the original rate. Discount codes or special discounts that may be applied to the original booking, including those contemplated in the my Barceló Benefits programme, will not be applied to the new final price.

 

11. When a request for an equalisation is made on a weekend, i.e. from Friday at 16.00 (GMT+2/+1 according to summer/winter time), the price match may be delayed until Monday (GMT+2/+1 according to summer/winter time). 

 

12. The process of a matching a lower rate found on another website cannot be combined with the process of matching a cheaper rate found on Barcelo.com up to 72 hours before check-in at the hotel.

 

13. Barcelo.com and customer service rates may vary by country, so the new rate found must be within the same country/market as the original.

 

14. In the event that it affects the currency exchange rate and the bank fee that may be applied by your bank, charges and/or refunds made in a currency other than that of the debit/credit card account used may cause differences between the amount charged and returned. Barcelo Hotel Group is not responsible for any differences that may occur. 

Terms and conditions for matching a lower rate found on Barcelo.com up to 72 hours prior to arrival

1. You must have a confirmed booking made through Barcelo.com or customer service. 

 

2. The conditions of the rate found on Barcelo.com must fully match the conditions of the net rate booked on Barcelo.com: 

  • same hotel 
  • same room type 
  • same duration and dates of stay 
  • same conditions of sale, cancellation of payment, prepayment, related to modifications of the booking etc. 
  • same number of guests 
  • same currency 
  • same rate condition

If the cancellation and/or modification policies do not align, the most restrictive policy will apply. 

 

3. You must submit the request at least 72 hours before check-in at the hotel. 

 

4. In the form you submit, you must include a screenshot of the cheapest rate found on another website. This capture must always be made in the last step, prior to confirmation, in which the name of the hotel, the dates of stay, the type of room, the number of adults and children, the regime, the currency, the taxes, and the cancellation rate policy are clearly and unequivocally displayed. This screenshot should show the date and time of the computer or device on which it was taken.

 

5. Only one match request can be submitted per customer.

 

6. If the cheapest Internet rate is for a multi-night booking, the guarantee covers the final price of the entire booking, not each night's separate rates.

 

7. The cheapest rate found will be net of the city/country taxes in question or other taxes associated with the room rate.

 

8. The rate found must be publicly available online and verifiable by Barcelo.com. 

 

9. In the event that an equalisation is made, it will be applied to the original rate. Discount codes or special discounts that may be applied to the original booking, including those contemplated in the my Barceló Benefits programme, will not be applied to the new final price.

 

10. When a request for an equalisation is made on a weekend, i.e. from Friday at 16.00 hours (GMT+2/+1 according to summer/winter time), the price match may be delayed until Monday (GMT+2/+1 according to summer/winter time). 

 

11. The process of matching a lower price found on Barcelo.com up to 72 hours before check-in is not cumulative with the process of matching a cheaper price found on Barcelo.com afterwards, nor with the process of matching a price found outside of Barcelo.com. 

 

12. Barcelo.com and customer service rates may vary by country, so the new rate found must be within the same country/market as the original and original one.

 

13. For bookings made with full or partial prepayment, the payment of the new total amount will first be required and, subsequently, the full refund of the amount paid will be made. In the event that they affect the currency exchange rate and the bank fee that may be applied by your bank, charges and/or refunds made in a currency other than that of the debit/credit card account used may cause differences between the amount charged and the amount returned. Barceló Hotel Group is not responsible for any differences that may occur.

Exclusions to the Best Price Guaranteed double guarantee

We are rigorous in fulfilling our commitment to offer the best online price guaranteed. In the same way, we apply this rigour to establishing basic rules and limitations to guarantee the best online price. In these 13 cases, the best price guarantee will not be applied, and therefore, the match request will not be accepted:

 

1. Bookings made through a channel that does not belong to Barcelo.com or any other non-designated channel, with the exception of the Customer Service. 

 

2. Rates available on opaque hotel booking websites. In other words, sites where the hotel brand, complete name, exact location, category or any other specific information is not known until the booking is made. 

 

3. Rates relating to what are known as promotional packages, i.e. hotel or travel packages that may include hotel offers, flights, car hire, food and drinks or other similar packages or services. 

 

4. Rates that are not publicly guaranteed: negotiated rates, group rates, business rates, etc. 

 

5. Bookings made through private sales clubs or that require registration, including loyalty programmes at hotels that belong to the Barceló Hotel Group. 

 

6. Rates where there are errors on the website at the time of enquiry or booking. 

 

7. Prepaid voucher rates. 

 

8. Bookings made within 48 hours before arrival at the hotel. 

 

9. Disparities in rates due to fluctuations, rounding or differences in currency exchange rates. 

 

10. Barcelo.com rates already include exclusive benefits for groups (meetings, events, congresses, or conferences), such as special services or discounts. 

 

11. The best price guarantee does not apply to hotels in Cuba.

 

12. Rates with coupons or discount codes applied.

 

13. If it is detected that the website referred to is, in the opinion of Barceló Hotel Group, fraudulent, the best price guarantee will not be applied.
