Barceló Sevilla Renacimiento is located just 550 yards from the famous Isla Mágica Theme Park, which was park opened by King Juan Carlos I in 1997 and led to the refurbishment of some of the facilities of the 1992 Universal Exhibition.
At the time of its opening, it was the first theme park in the world located in a city, as they are usually built away from city centers. The park theme is based on the discovery of America in the same manner as the legendary '92 Exhibition, which carried the theme 'Age of Discoveries.' Agua Mágica opened within the park in 2014 and features an artificial beach, wave pool, slides, children's swimming pools, lazy river, and many other attractions which undoubtedly make it more appealing in warmer months.
When you make your hotel booking you can buy tickets for Isla Mágica without having to go to the ticket office. During the final phase, before entering your booking details, you can select the Theme Park tickets option. The cost will include tickets for two adults and one or two children, depending on their ages and the season.
