Beruwala is a city located south-west of Sri Lanka, just 60 km from the capital, Colombo. It is a city founded by Arabic traders, which gave fame to the place. 

One of its main attractions is the Kechchimalai Mosque, located in Maradana, one of the oldest mosques of Sri Lanka. An impressive white building that dominates the whole city. Also, it is not far from the temple of Galapata Vihara where visitors discover a labyrinth of underground tunnels that connect with the other temples in the area.

Its beaches are an idyllic place to relax and sunbathe. Warm sand and turquoise water are the perfect setting for water sports.
