That's why we offer a double guarantee: you will always find the lowest price on Barcelo.com (and through our Customer Service) and once you book, you can rest assured that, if you find a cheaper price on another website, or even on Barcelo.com (or through our Customer Service), we will always match it.
And, a commitment is a commitment, so for any booking you make on Barcelo.com or via our Customer Service:
On Barcelo.com: If you find a cheaper rate on Barcelo.com (or via our Customer Service) at any time after making the booking, and up to 72 hours before check-in, we will match the rate.
On another website: If you find a cheaper rate on a website other than Barcelo.com within 24 hours of making your booking and up to 72 hours before check-in, we will match the rate and give you an additional 10% discount.

1. How to match a better price found outside Barcelo.com or customer service:
- Make your reservation at the best price online at Barcelo.com or through our Customer Service.
- Let’s suppose that, within 24 hours of making your booking, you find another offer at a lower rate for the same dates and product (room type, accommodation type, occupancy, offer, cancellation rate/policy and extras).
- Complete the form you will find via this link and send it to us.
- We will process your request and get back to you within a maximum of 48 working hours.
- If your case meets the requirements, we will match the rate found and we will apply an additional 10% discount.
- If your request does not meet the requirements, we will contact you to give you the best options available on Barcelo.com.
2. Price matching process for a better rate found on Barcelo.com after booking:
- Make your reservation at the best price online at Barcelo.com or through our Customer Service.
- Let’s suppose that, at some point after making your booking and up to 72 hours before check-in, you find a better price on Barcelo.com for the same dates and product (room type, accommodation type, occupancy, offer, cancellation rate/policy and extras).
- Complete the form and send it to us.
- We will process your request and get back to you within a maximum of48 working hours.
- If your case meets the requirements, we will match the rate found.
- If your request does not meet the indicated requirements, we will contact you with the best terms associated with Barcelo.com.

Terms and conditions for matching a lower rate found on another website
1. You must have a confirmed reservation made through Barcelo.com or through our Customer Service.
2. The conditions of the rate found on another website must fully match the conditions of the net rate booked on Barcelo.com:
- same hotel
- same room type
- same duration and dates of stay
- same sales conditions, cancellation conditions, prepayment conditions, conditions regarding making changes to the booking, etc.
- same number of guests
- same currency
- same rate condition
If the cancellation and/or modification policies are not the same, the most restrictive policy will apply.
3. You must submit your request within 24 hours of your purchase and no later than 72 hours prior to your arrival at the hotel.
4. The submitted form should include a screenshot of the cheapest rate found on another website. This screenshot should be the last step before confirmation where the hotel's name, the dates of your stay, type of room, the number of adults and children, regime, currency, taxes, the cancellation policy for rates are clearly and unequivocally displayed. This screenshot should show the date and time of the computer or device on which it was taken.
5. Only one price match request per customer can be submitted during the 24 hour period.
6. If the cheaper internet rate is for a booking lasting several nights, the guarantee covers the final price of the entire booking, not the individual rates for each night.
7. The cheapest rate found must be exclusive of any taxes associated with the city/country in question or any other taxes associated with the room rate.
8. The rate found must be publicly available online and verifiable by Barcelo.com.
9. The total difference found on another site must be more than €5. In the event that the price difference exceeds 25%, and unless prohibited by law, Barceló Hotel Group reserves the right to modify or cancel this offer and the terms and conditions at any time, at its sole discretion.
10. In the event that a price match is made (whether or not the additional 10% discount has been awarded), it will be applied to the original rate. Discount codes or any special discounts that may have been applied to the original booking, including those provided by the my Barceló benefits programme, will not be applied to the new final price.
11. When a price match request is made at the weekend, i.e. from Friday at 16.00 (GMT+2/+1 according to summer/winter time), the price match may be delayed until Monday (GMT+2/+1 according to summer/winter time).
12. The process of a matching a lower rate found on another website cannot be combined with the process of matching a cheaper rate found on Barcelo.com up to 72 hours before check-in at the hotel.
13. Barcelo.com and Customer Service rates may vary depending on the country, so the new rate found must be within the same country/market as the original.
14. If currency exchange fees or bank charges apply to any charges and/or refunds made in a different currency to that of the debit/credit card used, there may be differences between the amount charged and the amount refunded. Barceló Hotel Group is not responsible for any differences that may arise.

If currency exchange fees or bank charges apply to any charges and/or refunds made in a different currency to that of the debit/credit card used, there may be differences between the amount charged and the amount refunded. Barceló Hotel Group is not responsible for any differences that may arise.
Exclusions to the Best Price Guaranteed double guarantee
We firmly stand by our commitment to guaranteeing the best online rate. Similarly, we communicate this discipline to the establishment by outlining some rules and limitations in order to guarantee the best online rate. In the following 13 cases, the best guaranteed rate will not be applied and therefore the request for rate matching will not be accepted:
1. Bookings made through a channel that does not belong to Barcelo.com or any other non-designated channel, with the exception of the Customer Service.
2. Rates available on opaque hotel booking websites. In other words, sites where the hotel brand, complete name, exact location, category or any other specific information is not known until the booking is made.
3. Rates relating to what are known as promotional packages, i.e. hotel or travel packages that may include hotel offers, flights, car hire, food and drinks or other similar packages or services.
4. Rates that are not publicly guaranteed: negotiated rates, group rates, business rates, etc.
5. Bookings made through private sales clubs or clubs that require registration, including loyalty programmes by hotels belonging to the Barceló Hotel Group.
6. Rates where there are errors on the website at the time of enquiry or booking.
7. Prepaid voucher rates.
8. Bookings made within 48 hours before arrival at the hotel.
9. Disparities in rates due to fluctuations, rounding or differences in currency exchange rates.
10. Barcelo.com rates that already include exclusive group benefits (meetings, events, congresses or conferences), whether they are special services or discounts.
11. The guaranteed best online rate does not apply to Hotels in Cuba.
12. Fares with coupons or discount codes applied.
13. If it is detected that the website referred to is, according to the judgement of Barceló Hotel Group, a fraud, the best price guarantee will not be applied.

2. How do I know if my form was received? You will receive a confirmation by email or telephone within 48 working hours.
3. How will I know if my request has been approved? You will be notified by email or telephone.
4. How will I know if the room type is the same? If, for any reason, the characteristics of the room with the best rate found on another website are different to those of the original booking, we will notify you by email or telephone.
5. If I find a lower rate on Barcelo.com, will my request be applied? Yes, as a result of expanding the Best Rate Guaranteed promise. We will offer a price match provided that the request is sent 72 hours prior to check-in and the terms and conditions of the Best Price Guaranteed are met.
